Katalin Lőrincz, MD

Katalin Lőrincz is an OB/GYN resident at a government hospital in Hungary, where she is an active member of the ECV and breech birth team. She is involved in hands-on care, assisting with vaginal breech births and external cephalic versions, and contributes to improving better outcomes for breech-presenting pregnancies. In addition to her clinical work, Katalin lectures at ELTE University's Faculty of Education and Psychology and organizes birth preparation classes for expectant parents at the hospital. From 2018 to 2021, she worked as a childbirth and postpartum doula and was a Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator.
She is a former co-founder of a birth rights advocacy movement focused on respectful and evidence-based maternity care. Katalin is deeply committed to empathetic patient communication and advancing best practices in women's health.
