Nina Wagner, MD

Dr. Nina Wagner is a specialized gynecologist with a focus on perinatal care, practicing since 2019 at a perinatal Level 1 unit in Vienna, Austria, that supports approximately 2,000 births annually. She has been training in the field since 2010, including experience in Switzerland. Her current workplace, Klinik Donaustadt, is dedicated to facilitating vaginal births, even after two cesarean sections and in the case of twins, regardless of whether the presentation is cephalic or breech. The hospital has extensive experience in managing diverse delivery scenarios, including around 50 breech births each year, and Dr. Wagner is committed to ensuring the health and safety of both mothers and their newborns.

Outside of obstetrics, Dr. Wagner specializes in senology, including the diagnosis, treatment and surgical management of breast cancers at the breast center. Since becoming a specialist, she has contributed to enhancing clinical practices and patient care within the unit. She works part-time, allowing her to maintain a balance between her professional commitments and personal life.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. Wagner enjoys spending time with her two children, ages 6 and 10, and engaging in a local scout group. She values the balance between her medical career and family life, and she takes pride in building strong relationships with patients, guiding them through the unique journey of pregnancy and childbirth.
